音空観「カタコト」

KaTa　KoTo

「カタ　コト」には　
固くて軽い物が触れ合って出る小さな音、
幼児や外国人が話すたどたどしい不完全な言、
という２つの意味があります。
この作品は手で触ることができます。

トイピアノの鍵盤を模した木片の端を押すと、
重なった木片が動き、かすかな音を発します。
ほんの少しずつ重なりながらつながる鍵盤と鍵盤の　
たどたどしい会話に耳をすましてみて下さい。

"KaTaKoTo" has two meanings in Japanese :
One is “a tiny sound made by light, hard objects hitting each other repeatedly.”
The other is “a faltering speech spoken by an infant or a foreigner.”
It’s okay to touch this exhibition..
When you tap a wooden block, which I made as a toy piano key,.
you can hear the range of blocks make its faint sounds,.
