「カタ コト 」 レクイエム 3.11　

「カタ コト」とは、日本語で「固くて軽い物が触れ合って出る小さな音」
「幼児や外国人が話すたどたどしい不完全な言葉」という２つの意味があります。
　この作品は手で触ることができます。
　トイピアノの鍵盤をイメージして作られた木片の端を押すと　
　重なった木片が動き、かすかな音のつながりが生まれます。
　木片が発するたどたどしい会話は年輪に記録され、
　無形の水が長い長い時を経て忘れられた悲歌を再び歌います。

KATAKOTO has two meanings in Japanese:
One is “a tiny sound made by light, hard objects hitting each other repeatedly.”
The other is “a faltering speech spoken by an infant or a foreigner.”
It’s okay to touch this exhibition.
When you tap a wooden block, which I made as a toy piano key.
you can hear the range of blocks make faint sounds.
Their halting conversations have been recorded in the annual rings.
And water starts again to sing the elegy orgotten for a long, long time,
